About

I’m Itay Akian, a composer and sound designer specializing in creating unique soundscapes for film and video games. Music has always been my escape and passion, and I spent countless hours with my guitar, experimenting with sounds and pushing the boundaries of what music could express.

Over the years, I’ve developed a distinctive style that blends classical music, jazz improvisation, rock riffs, and ambient soundscapes. My goal is always to create something new and unexpected, using both traditional and digital tools to explore the vast possibilities of modern music production.

Recently, I’ve had the opportunity to work on several film projects, including True Mother by Rotem Gabay, which won Best Sound Design at the Sapir Festival, and the music score for The Wows & The Woes of Jeremiah Fiddlesnitch by Aviel Levenstein, which is set to be released soon.

I hold a BA in Film from Sapir College, where I honed my skills under the guidance of industry professionals. My work is all about capturing the emotions of a scene and translating them into music that resonates with the audience. I strive to create sounds that are not only heard but felt, making each project a unique journey.
